The book kicks things off with Thistle, a sweater worked sideways in an allover lace pattern. Worked in a single ply yarn, it balances dainty lace with a rustic flair.
Next up, Larkspur accentuates the simplicity and grace of garter stitch by adding a flash of lace. This versatile lace weight sweater can be dressed up or dressed down.
Tumbleweed gives a nod to those skeletons of the desert that blow and tumble across the land, with cables that roll and ripple in an asymmetrical fashion across the vest.
Evening Primrose brings color to the collection as a stranded vest with motifs reminiscent of wildflower tufts.
With undulating twin leaf lace, Camas Lily brings to mind the ebb and flow within nature as the seasons come and go and as wildlife migrates.
Finally, mimicking an organic growing process, Oleander is a sweater featuring budding cables.
The patterns of the High Desert collection are all sized from 30" to 60" bust and have both written and charted instructions.
