Review

Ana Paula Rimoli is synonymous with amigurumi. Amigurumi Toy Box is her third book of cute crocheted friends. She has also published Amigurumi World and Amigurumi Two! For those of you who don't know what amigurumi is; it is the Japanese art of crocheting small stuffed toys, animals and inanimate objects with facial features. In Japanese "ami" means crocheted and "nuigurumi" means a stuffed doll...
This may be just the book to start getting a child interested in learning to crochet. Amigurumi is popular and getting more so. Ravelry has several amigurumi groups you can join. Joining a group is always a fun way to show what you have created.
