This book is a sequel to Doreen's Saturday Sweaters; the projects in this latest volume, she says in her introduction, require slightly more skill and technique, but even so, they're still sweaters that the not-so-advanced knitter will feel confident tackling. What's more, since many of the designs are constructed in an unusual way, even experienced knitters will find them interesting to make.

Each of the projects is shown in a full page colour photograph, being worn by a model. Doreen provides a brief introductory comment, highlighting unusual or especially interesting aspects of the project. There's also a guide to the skill level required: five are rated intermediate (3 on a scale of 1-4) and the remainder are all rated easy (2 on a scale of 1-4). Instructions are provided for bust sizes from 34in up to 52 or 54in.

At the back of the book are brief notes and diagrams for some of the techniques used in the book; not enough for an absolute novice, but helpful for an intermediate knitter looking for a refresher.
