Super Easy and Cute Country Chic Legwarmers
We LOVE these legwarmers, Knit Collage’s Daisy Chain floral yarn adds a touch of country to them with zero fuss. Daisy Chain yarn is slightly less bulky than their other hand spun yarns, which help make the leg warmers not too chunky when worn.
Daisy Chain yarn was born out of Amy’s eternal love for daisy chains, flower crowns and all the wonderful feelings connected to them. Bits of tea-dyed lace, hand-printed Jaipur fabrics and daisy trims are hand spun into each colorway. Of course, you’ll also find their signature sparkles and pretty hand-carded heathered colors. Even though the raw materials are the same, no two skeins are completely alike because of the intense handmade process that goes into each and every skein
The original pattern calls for four sets of Double Pointed Needles in Sizes 8, 9, 10, and 11, which we have available from Clover in Bamboo 7 Inches or get the Knit Picks 6 Inch Nickel Plated Set.
I can barely work with double pointed needles, which I find a bit complicated, so we’ve gone ahead and made a video to show you how you can actually make these on circular needles using the magic loop technique. We use Knit Picks Interchangeable needles, so when its time to change needles you just keep your knitting on the cord, replace the tips, and Bob’s your Uncle, you’re ready for the next round.
