Hand dyed by our founder, Gena, this rich colored DK weight yarn is 70% Alpaca, 30% Merino Wool, making it warm and comfy for winter projects.

Dyed in two shades of teal and turquoise contrasted with deep burgundy and crimson, the idea was to create a darker contrast between the changing blues and the deep burgundy with a bright touch of the crimson.  We could just imagine this knitting up beautifully into a lacy shawl or warm sweater.

Added Bonus: The speckled nature of the color will help to hide any mistakes in your stitches (because we hate frogging).

In house we use Jacquard Acid Dyes for their vibrant shades and vast color selection and as a base yarn we chose Kraemer Naturals 'Veronica'
