Crosshatch Cardigan Knitting Kit
The Crosshatch Knit Cardigan offers you not one, not two, but four different ways to rock it.
Can you imagine the fun in deciding how to flaunt this knitted gem?
With its reversible design and three variations on the 2-color Brioche Stitch, this cardigan is a world of graphic textures that'll make heads turn. Wear it the classic way with a shawl collar, or flip it 'upside down' showcasing whichever side strikes your fancy. The options are as varied as your imagination!
Crafted seamlessly from the top down, the Crosshatch starts with the back neck adorned in Checked Rose Stitch, enveloped by a cozy Tuck Stitch Rib border. As you knit along, stitches are picked up, shoulders are shaped with clever increases, and voila slightly dropped armholes that scream comfort and style!
Ever wondered about the secret to that seamless, clean look?
The shoulder 'seam' pushed slightly to the back does the trick! And the best part? Both collar and front pieces merge seamlessly with the reserved back stitches, knitting the body flat front and back, all in one enchanting piece.
When you're in the mood for those cute little pockets, the transition to the Tuck Check Stitch at the bottom hem is your cue. Cast on those stitches and reserve them for simple horizontal slit pockets. But hey, if you prefer a sleeker look, just skip this step no pockets, no worries!
Sleeve time! Stitches are picked up around the armholes and then spun into cuffs while the pockets are brought to life in the round, finishing off with the Three Needle Bind Off.
So, ready to dive into a world of fashion, knitting, and playful styling?
The Crosshatch Cardigan is waiting for your knitting needles to bring its versatile charm to life!
Which way will you wear it?
