Hand dyed by our in house dyer - this rich red and black DK weight yarn is 70% Alpaca, 30% Merino Wool, making it warm and comfy for winter projects.

Dyed using the immersion method, leave no white - just rich color.  The reds have highs and lows (flame) and the black ties down the ashes.  We could just imagine this knitting up beautifully into a lacy shawl that goes with anything black or a warm scarf.

Added Bonus: The speckled nature of the color will help to hide any mistakes in your stitches (because we hate frogging).

In house we use Jacquard Acid Dyes for their vibrant shades and vast color selection and as a base yarn we chose Kraemer Naturals 'Veronica'
