A genuine Donegal should contain 100% wool, spun using traditional methods resulting in a homespun yarn of superior quality and whose flecks are permanently attached and will not fall out even after several years of wear.

Donegal Yarns, the original and genuine producer of Donegal Tweed yarns are influenced by the scenic beauty of the Irish landscape. Established over 100 years ago, surviving outbreaks of famine in the mid 1890's to today. A team of 21 spinners and dyers use skills passed down through many generations producing a unique yarn from raw wool to a finished multi coloured fleck yarn.

Hand wash in cold water with wool safe detergent, lay flat to dry. Do not agitate.

If your order is received by 10AM Monday through Friday, we will ship it same day. Every effort will be made for Saturday shipments when possible.

Additional charges may accrue on Priority, Overnight and International shipping if multiple attempts are made for delivery.
