Description

The Peacock Wrap is a uniquely shaped lush and colorful accessory to have for elegant evenings bold statements.

Imitating the shape of a peacock feather this pattern begins at a point, increasing until it is 97 stitches wide, then is worked straight. If you want your Peacock Wrap a bit longer and more extravagant there is enough yarn in the kit to knit an additional 44 rows.

This elegant repeating lace pattern is brought to new heights when combined with Tsubame self striping yarn.

Sample shown is in Wakkanai #6. Written with lace charts this pattern is intended for intermediate knitters.

You will also Need:
1 Pair of US 7 (4.5mm) Knitting Needles
Stitch Markers (recommended for marking out lace repeats)

Gauge: 
14 stitches x 24 rows = 4" on US 7 (4.5 mm) needles in Lace Chart 2, however, the gauge is not so important for this project.

This rectangular scarf is made in one size, 62" (159cm) Long x 21" (53cm) Wide, after blocking.

To care for your scarf, hand wash it in cool water and lay it flat to dry in the shade. Iron Low, Do Not Tumble Dry, Do Not Bleach.
